When one of the most influential cooks of the middle eastern niche in Sydney asks you for a website, you have no option but to deliver. Mamaghanouj needed a place to home her recipes, making it easier for her large following to make traditional foods. At first, it was a blog post idea. Without knowing exactly what she wanted out of the website we knew we had to create a road map to success.
Put it into perspective, with over 120,000 followers at the time, (now reaching the 190,000 mark), there isn't much wiggle room for mistakes. But just like she makes her recipes, we made her website (with love).
Fast forward to 2024, the business has expanded and the new direction is to move away from only a recipe hosting ground, but now a place to share her favourite dishes, and to be able to provide tangible merch and books to all her beloved followers.
